This role will be working on our Poe product.

About the Team and Role:

A Quora internship is not an ordinary internship. Every project our interns take on is impactful and tied to real company goals.

As an iOS Engineer Intern on the Poe team, you’ll help build one of the most exciting consumer AI products in the world. You’ll work alongside experienced iOS engineers to design, develop, and polish features for the Poe iOS app - contributing directly to the product millions of people use daily to interact with cutting-edge AI models.

You’ll receive mentorship from full-time engineers, regular 1:1 feedback from your manager, and opportunities to collaborate with product managers, designers, and other technical teams. This is a chance to learn, grow, and make meaningful contributions to Poe’s mobile experience.

This internship will run for 16 weeks beginning in January.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Poe’s iOS engineers to design, build, and test new user-facing features

• Contribute to the performance, stability, and polish of the Poe iOS app

• Participate in code reviews and learn best practices in mobile architecture and product development

• Work cross-functionally with design and product teams to create delightful user experiences

• Take ownership of a real project that will ship to users during your internship

Minimum Requirements:

• Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's “coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)

• Currently pursuing a B.S., M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field at a Canadian University

• Graduating in Summer 2026

• Experience or coursework in Swift and a strong interest in iOS development

• Strong problem-solving skills and an eagerness to learn

• Passion for building impactful products and curiosity about AI

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience building or contributing to an iOS app (personal, academic, or professional)

• Familiarity with SwiftUI, GraphQL, and app architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, etc.)

• Interest in the intersection of AI and mobile applications

There are many factors that will determine the starting pay, including but not limited to experience, location, education, and business needs.

• The minimum base salary range for this role starts at $8,033 CAD monthly.
