Our Technology function builds and operates the platforms that power Zip's products globally. We focus on secure, scalable and resilient systems that enable fast product innovation while maintaining strong customer trust.

Within Engineering, the Identity & Trust squad is responsible for the services that protect access to Zip’s ecosystem. The team builds and supports authentication, identity management and trust capabilities that create safe, seamless experiences for customers and internal teams.

What you’ll own

• Build and maintain backend services using C# and .NET within an event-driven microservices architecture.

• Design and deliver RESTful APIs that are secure, scalable and highly performant.

• Contribute to technical design and deliver features from concept through to production.

• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and stakeholders to solve complex technical challenges.

• Write high-quality, well-tested code and continuously improve system reliability and performance.

What you’ll bring to the team

• Proven experience developing backend services using C# and .NET.

• Proficient in the design and implementation of RESTful APIs.

• Demonstrated experience with microservice and event-driven system designs.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, containerisation (Docker) and CI/CD practices.

• Strong understanding of testing practices, clean code and modern software engineering principles.

• A mindset that embraces AI and new tools to adapt, learn and grow.
