The Requirements Portal delivers essential features on the Altium Develop/Agile platform for engineering teams to collaborate on their product requirements. It covers the entire lifecycle from importing with smart importers customer requirements, collaborating on them, connecting them to the electronics design, verifying them and creating relevant compliance documents.

A day in the life of our Software Engineer:

Your primary role will be product development for complex cloud applications with the Altium Requirements Portal R&D Team, handling technical challenges that are different from most others on the market, a mixture of complex engineering software, microelectronics, and cloud services.

• Set the front-end engineering direction of our product and components, collaborating across teams to improve our application’s overall architecture and our users experience;

• Champion simplicity, performance and scalability: ensure that our users are able to get the most out of our features even when they are working on a very complex project with a lot of data and relations involved;

• Identify areas for improvement in our existing interfaces and components, propose and discuss possible solutions;

Who We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience developing scalable web applications based on modern architectures and technologies;

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering

• Good knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript;

• Familiarity with Angular - we're using Angular 20 with signals and standalone components;

• Ability to present options for solutions that are well summarized, weighted against each other and coordinated with affected team members;

• Passionate about taking the responsibility of delivering high quality software, understanding and providing the best experience for the user to solve their needs;

• You like seeing the big picture. Understand that decisions in one area may impact others, so you can take the best approach;

• Fluency in English (verbal and written);

• Collaborative and a team player.

• Experience Mentoring other team members.

🏢 Our hybrid schedule

Our global hybrid model allows employees to work remotely two days per week. Our designated In-Office Days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. This is when we come together in-person as a team to collaborate, learn from one another, and accelerate innovation. Some exceptions apply.
