Team Mission:

At GetYourGuide, our Supplier Connectivity team is on a mission to empower scalable inventory growth and create a seamless customer experience for connected products. By fostering strong relationships with suppliers, we enhance the variety and quality of offerings, ensuring efficient inventory management and simplified booking processes. Our commitment to innovation and collaboration allows us to refine our services and connect travelers with unique experiences worldwide, making every journey unforgettable. You will:

• Work in a cross-functional mission team with backend and full-stack engineers.

• Help to enable your mission team to iterate fast and learn about our customers by designing, launching and iterating on A/B experiments .

• Continuously improve our code base, systems and processes.

• Design and develop efficient solutions that can continue to scale.

• Work with Vue.js, Node.js, TypeScript, SASS, Java, Spring Boot, GraphQL, Kafka, and Kubernetes.

Who you are:

• 3+ years of software development experience.

• Expertise in web application development using component-based frameworks.

• High proficiency in TypeScript, Vue.js, Java (SpringBoot), Kafka, and GraphQL.

• Experience designing architecture and deployment of web applications and services.

• Experience with writing tests.

• Ability to turn ideas into fast, reliable and maintainable code.

• Positive, proactive team player who is passionate about their craft.

• Customer-centric prioritization and data-driven decision making.

• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

What sets you apart:

• Backend experience in Java.

• Experience with A/B testing, hypothesis building and event-based analytics.

• Prior experience working in the e-commerce space.

• Prior experience in start-up environments.
