Software Engineer - FMS Avionics

Job Description 

We have an immediate need for an FMS/Avionics Software Engineer for any of our offices in Phoenix, Bothell, Clearwater, New Orleans, Grand Rapids or Cedar Rapids.  This is a Hybrid position which will require you to work on-site three days a week and work remotely two days a week. This is a full-time position with great benefits including a 12% IRA contribution.

Pay Rate: $80,000-$140,000 DOE

Job Requirements

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent development experience.

Significant FMS/Avionics software experience is required

Strong object-oriented language (C++ and/or ADA) and software development methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, etc.)

Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities

Strong communication and presentation skills

Knowledge of DO-178 Development Standards
