This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Web & Mobile Banking team and work with an experienced group of Software Developers and Business Analysts based around the world. Working closely with our Agile team, you will collaborate with related teams and clients to develop new product features and maintain existing ones in live use.

You will be part of a team who develops and delivers innovative solutions by working with clients and partners to meet market demands and help shape the back-office landscape of tomorrow.

As the owner of functionality, the team is part of many exciting and complex projects. We are looking for a motivated junior to mid-level Software Engineer who is interested in designing and developing scalable solutions for the Financial Services industry. This role presents a unique opportunity to advance your development skills and acquire experience in the Banking and Wealth Management domain. You will become an expert of Avaloq Core Banking software and corresponding business processes in the industry.

• Drive the design of new product features and functionality ensuring high quality of our software via code review and automated testing
• Work collaboratively with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Software Architects and fellow Developers
• Work in an Agile environment, helping to constantly improve our processes and introduce new technologies
• Analyse and implement customer requirements, customise our software to fit clients' needs and extend Avaloq's standard product configuration
• Provide technical support for customer projects and maintain existing functionality
• Provide support to other development teams and work on interdisciplinary innovation projects

• Proven track record of building web applications based on Angular, TypeScript and Node.js
• Knowledge or experience using Java and Spring Boot
• An open-minded approach and team-oriented mindset
• Proficient communication skills to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Readiness to learn and take on new challenges

It would be a real bonus if you have:

• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge and applicable experience in public multi-tenant cloud hosted services such as authentication or scaling mechanisms
• Knowledge or experience of Oracle and/or PL/SQL
