Pyramid is a leading Information Technology Consulting services company headquartered in metropolitan Atlanta, GA with prime emphasis on the following service offerings:

Job Position: Software Engineer (DevOps)

Location: San Diego, CA

Duration: 6 Months

Business priorities is to Deliver Awesome support for these groups so the nations taxes get done. ICS provides Tax season platform support and backup of current Full Time Employees, as well as increase in bandwidth for support requests. We enable the transition from Data Center centric to dual homed DC and Amazon Web Services deployments.

This position will enable current staff to process more requests (Jira tasks) and be operationally available for deployments, performance testing and infrastructure architecture design upgrades / migrations into AWS.

REQUIREMENTS:

Nginx is a MUST. We re converting most of the apache to Nginx,

BASH or Ruby

Solid Chef experience.

Git - we only use git, github here on this crew.

ActiveMQ will consider kafka, AWS SQS/SMS, etc.

Service Now - would be great, but will consider Remedy, etc.

Confluence

Java

TomCat

MUST HAVE BUDGETING, P&L, FORECASTING, COSTING, Ad hoc analysis
