We are looking for Versatile, curious, and energetic Software Engineers who embrace solving complex challenges on a global scale. As a Visa Software Engineer, you will be an integral part of a multi-functional development team inventing, designing, building, and

testing software products that reach a truly global customer base. While building components of powerful payment technology, you will get to see your efforts shaping the digital future of monetary transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, and GCP is highly preferred
• Design, document and implement new systems, as well as enhancements and modifications to existing software with code that complies with design specifications and meets security and Java best practices.
• Use AI tools extensively to increase velocity of execution.
• Interact with both business and technical stakeholders to deliver high quality products and services that meet business requirements and expectations while applying the latest available tools and technology
• Have a passion for delivering zero defect code and be responsible for ensuring the team's deliverables meet or exceed business expectations
• Identify opportunities for product innovation and strive for improvements to best practices, standards and processes
• Coordinate Continuous Integration activities, testing automation frameworks and other related items in addition to contributing core product code
• Present technical solutions, capabilities, considerations, and features in business terms.
• Effectively communicate status, issues, and risks in a precise and timely manner

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

• 1-2 years of hands-on experience in DevOps related activities
• Bachelors(B.E/B.Tech) in computer science or related discipline(2024/25 graduates only)
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, deployments, and cluster operations (preferably on GKE).
• Must be skilled in writing robust Shell Scripts for automation and system tasks.
• Good experience in CI/CD activities
• Strong experience building and managing Docker, Containers.
• Proficiency in AWS and GCP services and cloud native design patterns.
• Must be proficient in Python development for creating tooling, automation, and operational workflows.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve issues in distributed, cloud-based systems.
