THE ROLE

The FlashArray team builds high-performance, highly available storage solutions designed for mission-critical applications. While FlashArray is delivered as a hardware product, the majority of innovation comes from software, with most of the engineering team focused on software development. Customers value FlashArray for its simplicity, continuous delivery of new capabilities, and ability to evolve without downtime.

Each FlashArray includes containerized edge services that enable cloud-like connectivity, management, and extensibility.

This role focuses on integrating edge services into the FlashArray platform, combining software engineering with Linux-based systems expertise.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Analyze and solve complex technical challenges with a thoughtful and persistent approach

• Design and implement algorithms and technologies for high-performance, highly reliable systems

• Own and deliver features end-to-end, from concept through production

• Collaborate with teammates to build and improve systems together

• Contribute to customer-focused solutions that prioritize reliability and ease of use

• Continuously learn and grow within a supportive engineering environment

• We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Prague office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Experience across the software development lifecycle, from design through deployment and maintenance

• Proficiency in Python and/or Go, with development experience on Linux/UNIX systems

• Familiarity with container technologies aligned with OCI standards (e.g., Docker, Podman) and backend systems designed for high load and availability

• Ability to analyze systems, including requirements, performance, reliability, and risk considerations

• Experience with automated testing and practices that support code quality and continuous improvement

• A collaborative approach, curiosity, and interest in system design and problem-solving
