Position Summary

This is an amazing opportunity to be an engineer in a high-growth, high-potential startup. In this role, you will be part of the Harness Code Repository team and responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software that has a direct impact on thousands of developers like you.

About the role

• Core Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, mission-critical software in a fast-paced environment.

• Author clear and comprehensive functional specifications and design documentation.

• Quickly master complex systems and codebases to take ownership of key components, including ensuring the quality of the delivered product.

• Design and implement scalable algorithms.

• Diagnose and resolve intricate problems within a distributed computing environment.

• Conduct peer reviews of specifications, designs, and code.

• Collaborate with Site Reliability Engineers and cross-functional teams to diagnose and troubleshoot production performance issues.

• Languages: Golang, Java

• Technologies: Docker, Kubernetes, MongoDB, GCP, Redis

About you

• A desire to build products that solve complex technical problems for end users

• 1-3 years experience developing highly scalable, distributed applications, products and services in Golang, Java or similar languages

• Experience with GCP/AWS/Azure is a plus.

• Understanding of how distributed resilient software is built and deployed

• Solid foundation in data structures, algorithms and software design with strong analytical and debugging skills

• Comfort in working in short, agile, iterative development cycles

• Entrepreneurial spirit, priding yourself on getting things done with a high level of quality

• Strong desire to work in an unstructured, fast moving startup environment

• B Tech degree in CS or equivalent
