About CERES - The Tool You’ll Help Develop

CERES is Rotork’s product configuration engine of the future. Built in-house by Engineering Services, it simplifies, accelerates, and standardises the creation of product configurator models used in e-Con.

CERES matters because it:

• Sits above e‑Con as a smarter, more intuitive interface
• Translates business rules into e-Con model logic
• Ensures configurator accuracy for quoting, ordering, and manufacturing
• Holds product metadata essential for pricing, clauses, lead times, and configurator outputs
• Will soon push standardised models directly into D365 FO and CE

• TypeScript + Node.js (backend services)
• React + Next.js (UI and rendering)
• WebPack (bundling)
• SQL Server (data & metadata)

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• Programming experience with one or more languages (TypeScript, Node.js/JSON, React)
• Solid SQL Server development skills
• Understanding table design, SPs, views, optimisation
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and Agile working
• Ability to work collaboratively through the full software lifecycle
• Strong problem-solving ability & clear communication
• You’ll partner with engineers, functional SMEs, and DRIVE teams
