Job Description
About SeeCubic
SeeCubic is working on something most people have never seen before. We develop autostereoscopic 3D display technology that allows viewers to see multidimensional images on TV, tablet, PC or phone, without glasses or any other peripherals. Our technology goes beyond anything previously achieved in 3D visualisation, both in precision and detail. From our R&D centre in Eindhoven, a team of around 20 engineers works on the software, hardware and optics that make this possible.
We are looking for a Software Engineer to design, implement and maintain software components within our 3D display systems.
What will you do?
You will define software system-level specifications and implement functions across various components, including testing and documentation. You will own the full development cycle of modules and subsystems: from secure client-server functions and user interfaces to SDK/API design.
In practice, this means:
Designing, implementing and testing software modules in C++ and C#
Supporting the integration of software components into larger systems
Contributing to our SDK and plugins for external development partners and 3D content creators (DirectX, OpenGL, Unreal, Unity)
Developing software for factory equipment such as calibration and measurement stations
Participating in code reviews and upholding coding standards
Writing and maintaining technical documentation
Participating in planning, estimation and delivery sessions
Leveraging AI tools as part of your daily workflow
You will also work on technically challenging problems in real-time video processing, 3D graphics and advanced user interfaces — collaborating closely with hardware, embedded and software engineers across all phases of development, from feasibility studies through to implementation and documentation.
What do you bring?
A degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar (bachelor's or master's level)
Strong knowledge of C++ and/or C#
Experience with 3D graphics and GPU-oriented APIs such as DirectX, OpenGL and CUDA
Experience with game engines such as Unity and/or Unreal is a plus, as is experience with video processing
Knowledge of Windows development environments; Linux experience is a welcome addition
Strong analytical skills and the ability to tackle complex problems in a structured way
What do we offer?
A permanent contract
A salary between €3,500 and €5,500 per month, depending on education and experience
26 vacation days, with the option to purchase additional days
Pension fully covered by the employer — no personal contribution required
Ample opportunities for training, development and personal growth
