Our team builds foundational, core services that power Business-to-Business (B2B) commerce transactions on Amazon. We are looking for a Manager of Software Development for Invoice By Amazon (IBA) product. IBA provides a single supplier invoice product as the default experience for all Amazon Business (AB) customers in Europe and India with upcoming expansion in JP and MX. As more and more customers adopt the IBA experience, we face increasingly complex architectural challenges. We are currently directing our efforts towards scaling our systems and reducing parity gaps in order to provide a seamless experience for all our customers.

The role is based in Madrid and will require some international travel.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations
Experience in leading the definition and development of multi tier web services
Experience managing engineers
Experience partnering with product and program management teams
Experience in engineering
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
