Who we are looking for:
Looking for a Software Development Manager with 10~12 years of IT experience, strong min 5+ years in python code development. Also have experience in C++ Programming Language, Cloud Computing, Java, Java script Programming. Who will play a key role in Data Analysis, python data model development / implementation, time series data analysis, data anomaly deduction. Strong mathematical quantitative background, ideally with application development in Finance domain.
What you will be responsible for:
• Implement financial models in Python according to specifications provided by modelers and business users and suggest best practices for high performance and automated execution.
• Automate advanced data aggregation methodologies for stand-alone execution in controlled environments.
• Strong working knowledge of financial and statistical concepts. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining strict attention to details.
• Implement on-the-fly and static data enrichment logic; implement heuristics to regularly monitor wide variances in critical data. Establish processes and procedures for managing and accessing large databases, and for optimizing repetitive or computationally intensive tasks. Create end to end infrastructure for data gathering, data analysis, cleaning, signal generation & model implementation.
Must have Skills:
• Expert understanding of Python Core concepts, including both functional and class-based design. Experience in writing effective and scalable Python codes independently.
• Hands on Cloud AWS or Azure using Databricks, Postgres DB experience.
• Demonstrable experience with a range of common Python packages including NumPy, Pandas, matplotlib, SAlib, Scikit-learn. Independently address and resolve production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• A deep understanding of Python basics, multi-process architecture and the threading limitations of Python.
• Implement financial models in Python according to specifications provided by modelers and business users and suggest best practices for high performance and automated execution.
• Automate advanced data aggregation methodologies for stand-alone execution in controlled environments.
• Experience working with large and complex data sets and coding solutions to address requirements of financial institutions, with a working knowledge of banking regulations preferred.
• Building CI/CD pipelines and integration with Github, JIRA, creating data pipelines, automation using AUTOSYS/AIRFLOW, Databricks.
• Establish processes and procedures for managing and accessing large databases, and for optimizing repetitive or computationally intensive tasks. Write technical documentation, functional documentation, maintain compliance requirement.
• Excellent interpersonal, Strong Written and Oral communication, presentation skills. Ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
Good to have skills:
• MLOps and Quantitative Mathematical Model Development experience/implementation using multi-Asset data is plus.
• Experience in quantitative financial research and market data analysis familiarity with vendors pricing and fundamentals dataset. 4~5 year experience in buy-side or sell-side research is desirable.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required in a quantitative field such as finance, econometrics, mathematics, Science/engineering or similar fields. Quantitative data modeling experience desirable.
