About You

We are rapidly expanding and looking to hire talented and ambitious software engineers in Pune. As a member of the team, you will create, grow, and manage a distributed network of marketplaces and applications. We love entrepreneurial spirit and those who bring experience from established organizations. You are a highly technical, hands-on developer with a passion for producing maintainable and robust code.

What you'll do and how you'll make an impact

• Lead simple projects independently and begin contributing to medium-complexity projects.

• Take initiative and execute ideas that positively impact the team, occasionally leading small initiatives.

• Communicate effectively within your team, across projects, and with cross-functional partners.

• Deliver complete, high-quality products on time, while identifying gaps in requirements or implementation plans.

• Proactively anticipate problems, recognize barriers, and collaborate with internal and cross-functional teams to resolve them.

• Value robust, sensible design and clean, maintainable code; advise others on boundary and negative test cases.

• Mentor junior team members on writing testable code and consistently write comprehensive tests for your own work.

• Make informed decisions about when to use unit, integration, or end-to-end testing.

• Consistently deliver systems and features that provide meaningful value to customers and other teams.

• Raise potential delivery or timeline issues early, without fear of blame, and contribute through detailed code reviews and documentation of best practices.

• Collaborate closely with product management, design, and sales teams to build impactful solutions.

What we’re looking for

• 3-5 years of experience developing in Java with a proven track record of delivering end-to-end solutions from scratch.

• Strong proficiency in Core Java and frameworks such as Spring Framework, J2EE, or Reactor. Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, and design patterns.

• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs and working with microservice architectures.

• Hands-on experience with HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript (ReactJS/Redux is a plus). Familiarity with Node.js and frameworks like Express.

• Proficiency with databases such as MySQL and MongoDB. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging systems like Kafka.

• Strong background in testing, including unit testing with JUnit, integration testing, and performance testing.

• Experience working in Agile development environments and collaborating across teams.

• Knowledge of scalability, performance engineering, and application security best practices is a plus.

• We value engineers who enjoy building production-grade code, supporting it once live, and are comfortable refactoring and exploring new technologies. Commitment to writing clean, testable, and maintainable code is essential.
