About the Team:
The Expansion Products team is responsible for driving volumetric & usage based upgrades and upsells within the platform to maximize revenue potential (apart from the subscription revenue). We do this by building innovative products & features that solve real-world problems for agencies and allow them to consolidate their offering to their clients in a single platform packaged under their white-labled brand. The expansion products team focuses exclusively on products that can demonstrate adoption, drive up engagement in target segments and are easily monetizable. This team handles multiple product areas including Phone System, email system, online listing integration, WordPress Hosting, Memberships & Courses, Mobile Apps, etc.

About the Role:
We’re building a global commerce platform to power $1T+ in annual transactions for millions of SMEs. As an SDE III, you’ll design core models—subscriptions, payments 💳, reconciliation , and tax —plus the services around them. You’ll define event contracts , data policies , and consistency guarantees to ensure every transaction is correct by design, traceable 🔍, and delightful at scale.

Responsibilities::
• Design and ship multi-tenant services: checkout, subscriptions, payments orchestration, invoicing, tax hooks
• Integrate PSPs and local methods (UPI, wallets, BNPL, cards/3DS) with resilient webhooks and idempotent APIs
• Implement an append-only double-entry ledger; apply event sourcing/CQRS where it improves scale and correctness
• Write production-grade code with deep test coverage and OpenTelemetry instrumentation
• Operate on GKE with CI/CD, autoscaling, SLIs/SLOs, and on-call ownership
• Collaborate with PM/Design and mentor junior engineers

Qualifications::
• 4-6 years in Software Development
• Tech Stack: Backend: Go, ConnectRPC, Buf, Frontend:Vue.js, Vite, Webpack MFA, TanStack Query ,Databases: MongoDB, Firestore, Clickhouse, Cloud: GCP (GKE), Pub/Sub, Redis, OpenTelemetry
• 1+ years building with protobuf/GRPC/ConnectRPC-
• Experience with MongoDB/Firestore, Redis, and event-driven systems (Kafka, Pub/Sub)
• Strong distributed systems fundamentals: idempotency, retries, ordering, concurrency, consistency
• Hands-on with Kubernetes and GCP; familiarity with secrets/KMS and PCI basics- Deep testing discipline: unit, integration, contract, performance
• Schema design for scale and backward compatibility
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills
• Solid UI development experience with Vue.js and TanStack Query
• Ability to build responsive, accessible, and performant UIs that integrate cleanly with backend APIs
• Familiarity with component-driven design, state management, and modern frontend tooling (Vite, ESLint, etc
