Our Hetzner Cloud team consists of around 75 employees and works both remotely across Germany and from our office in Munich (Unterföhring).
We are the Open Source Integrations team – the interface between our product teams and the technical community. Acting as the voice of our users, we bring feature requests, feedback and bug reports straight to the table and ensure that developers’ needs are taken into account in product decisions. We build open-source integrations such as SDKs, CLIs, Infrastructure-as-Code and Kubernetes components, making extensive use of our own APIs in the process.
Our focus is on delivering an excellent developer experience through usability, transparency and close communication. This also includes clear, comprehensive documentation, so that our tools are not only powerful but also easy to use. You can find our projects on [GitHub].

Deine Aufgaben:
As a Software Developer (m/f/d), you will develop and maintain open-source integrations based on our API, which are used in production to provision thousands of virtual servers. You will also support our backend teams in designing and evolving the API specification, with a strong focus on stability and ease of integration.
• Develop and maintain our open-source integrations and internal tools around our API
• Support users on GitHub with questions, feature requests and bug reports
• Ensure quality through automated tests and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Write and continuously improve clear, user-friendly documentation for your integrations
• Work closely with product and backend teams on API design and API specifications
Deine Skills:
• Solid experience in software development, ideally with Python and Go
• Confidence in communicating with users and cross-functional teams
• Ideally, experience with open source projects, clean code and REST API design
• A structured, reliable and self-driven way of working
• Fluent written and spoken English, German is a plus
