Software Developer (Full Stack)

RMC is hiring a Software Developer to support our customer at NAS Patuxent River, Maryland. The selected applicant will provide technical expertise developing software for analysis of an advanced synthetic training environment. The selected applicant will:

• Develop software for analysis of an advanced synthetic training environment
• Support software development, software integration, customer training and demonstrations

• Demonstrates a knowledge of and provide standard programming algorithms, design patterns, and object-oriented software design
• Work within and support existing DevOps environment, including automated builds, testing, and deployment of software on multiple OS platforms
• Evaluate and review Python, C and C++ language code
• Develop software using Python, C and C++
• Develop software for analysis and visualization of data
• Develop software to analyze complex simulation environments and platforms in real-time and after actions
• Collaborate with team members supporting the design future enhancements

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline AND three (3) years of experience;

• OR In lieu of a degree, seven (7) total years of experience may be considered.
• An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start. Applicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
• Experience with Python3, CMake, CUDA, threaded programming, and/or modelling and simulation is a plus
• Experience with Software CM tools to include git
• Experience with data analysis software development
• Experience working in both Linux and Windows environments

Salary at RMC is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, a candidate's specific combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific requirements. The current salary range for this position will be $90,000 to $125,000 (annually).
