What we intend to do together:
• Develop safety-critical systems: Design and implement robust software solutions for demanding applications in the defense sector – from concept to delivery.
• Work with modern technologies: Apply your expertise in Java (Jakarta EE, Eclipse RCP, JavaFX, OSGi, JFoenix, EMF) and/or C++ (C++14/17) in a targeted way. Develop powerful applications for Windows and Linux (AlmaLinux/RHEL), including for specialized hardware and embedded systems.
• Master interface diversity: Develop and integrate various interfaces – for example, for cryptography, mapping, or specialized hardware components.
• Agile development and teamwork: Work within agile processes and collaborate closely with colleagues, project teams, and customers.
• Focus on quality: Develop high-quality software and ensure its reliability through extensive automated testing and emulators in a CI/CD pipeline.
• Diverse projects: Take on responsibilities in architecture, system integration, test automation, and specialized areas such as GPU-based signal processing.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicate both internally and externally, and collaborate closely with project teams, stakeholders and customers.

What you convince with:
• You hold a degree in computer science, business informatics, mathematics, natural sciences, or a comparable qualification (e.g., IT specialist) or have proven practical experience.
• You have at least 5 years of experience in development with Java and/or C++ – ideally in the field of critical, safety-relevant, or embedded systems.
• You have solid knowledge of at least one of the following technologies: Java (Jakarta EE, Eclipse RCP, OSGi, JavaFX, JFoenix, EMF), C++ (C++14 and newer, development under Linux, ideally with experience in embedded systems).
• You are familiar with agile and DevOps development methods and ideally have experience working with sprints and shifting priorities.
• You are highly proficient in CI/CD and Jenkins.
• You have excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
• Ideally, you also have knowledge of German.
• You are willing to undergo a security screening.
