Job Description

Work Location: Remote with regular meetings at Ft. Belvoir, VA

Clearance Requirements: Active Secret Clearance

Designs and develops new software products or major enhancements to existing software. Addresses problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms. Responsible for project completion. Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects for management.

POSITION DUTIES

Design and develop new software products and major enhancements to existing solutions.

Address systems integration, compatibility, and multi-platform implementation challenges.

Provide technical leadership and architectural direction to development teams.

Ensure software solutions align with program requirements and enterprise standards.

Perform feasibility analysis and technical evaluations for future projects.

Support project completion through planning, oversight, and stakeholder coordination.

Develop and maintain technical documentation and architecture artifacts.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Must hold Active Secret Clerance

Minimum five (5) years of relevant experience in enterprise software architecture

Demonstrated experience designing systems using:

Java (Spring / enterprise frameworks)

Microsoft .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core)

Python (data analysis / analytics development)

Experience deploying solutions in Microsoft Azure Government Cloud (IL4 / IL5)

Experience designing secure systems in compliance with federal cybersecurity requirements

Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and containerization

Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
