About the role

In the WeAdd-team we develop a growing product family of innovative digital solutions that increase patient safety and streamline daily healthcare workflows. Our products are used across the healthcare sector and enable simpler, smarter, and more efficient care delivery.

 

Our team consists of professionals in System development, business analysis, solution architecture, implementation, testing, and support. The team works in an agile, creative environment with short decision paths and continuous improvements. We handle everything from customer dialogue, business analysis and solution architecture to implementation, testing, and support of healthcare solutions.

We are now looking for Lead Developer / Software Architect – Backend to our WeAdd team within Tieto Caretech to focus on the development of advanced, mission‑critical healthcare solutions that enhance patient safety, improve workflows, and free up valuable time for healthcare professionals.

You will collaborate closely with customers, fellow developers, business analysts, testers, and healthcare domain specialists.

 

In this role you will

• Design and develop complex backend systems used within the healthcare sector.
• Work with multithreaded server architectures on Windows platforms.
• Develop and optimize relational databases with a focus on MSSQL Server.
• Ensure high system quality through automated testing and load testing.
• Design and implement integrations with internal and external systems.
• Contribute to product development in an agile, self‑organizing team environment.
• Participate in customer dialogue and drive development initiatives involving multiple stakeholders.

 

We are looking for someone with

• Expertise and experience in C++
• Multithreaded server architecture on Windows platforms
• Expertise in relational databases with a focus on MSSQL server
• Expertise in network security, PKI, MTLS, cryptography and current standards
• Great experience in other programming languages ​​such as Python and C# / NET, JavaScript
• Great experience in automated testing, load testing

 

It would be beneficial if you also

• Experience with ordering and response solutions, integrations with LIMS / RIS and other external services
• Experience with IT within Swedish healthcare, Inera, HSA, SITHS as well as health informatics and standards such as RIVTA, openEHR, HL7, KITH
• Experience with both Windows and Linux platforms at administrator level
