About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Mobile application development architect to lead the design and development of our enterprise mobile applications. The Mobile Architect will be responsible for defining and implementing architectural solutions that align with our business goals and technological standards. This role requires a deep understanding of mobile platforms, a strong technical background, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
• Design scalable, high-performance mobile application architectures that meet both functional and non-functional requirements and integrate with backend systems, APIs, and cloud services

• Provide technical leadership on memory management, performance optimization, and security best practices for React Native apps

• Develop strategies for efficient handling of multiple device form factors and OS versions

• Oversee CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes for both iOS and Android platforms

• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and development teams to gather requirements and translate them into robust mobile solutions

• Evaluate and recommend mobile technologies, frameworks, and tools to enhance development efficiency and app performance

• Architect the enterprise mobile platform and applications leveraging Azure cloud services, Microservices/APIs, DevSecOps, CI/CD, NoCode platform principles

• Own and be accountable for the Performance, Scalability, Reliability and Sustainability of the platform/product architecture.

• Define Mobile application development best practices and architectural patterns

• Optimize the performance of applications across various devices and OS versions

• Conduct code reviews to ensure that development practices align with architectural guidelines and best practices

• Communicate architectural decisions and technical concepts effectively to stakeholders, including non-technical audiences.

Requirements:
• 12+ years of hands-on experience in architecting and developing enterprise mobile software products (iOS, Windows, Android, native and cross-platform) and the frameworks/platforms.

• Experience in building MEAP (Mobile Enterprise Application Platform) that enables faster and scalable development of cross-platform mobile applications and consumption/integration of the backend enterprise services.

• Proficiency in programming languages relevant to mobile development (e.g., Swift, Kotlin, Java).

• Extensive experience with React Native, RESTful APIs, Azure Cloud Services and DevOps.

• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Mobile architecture – Offline-First.

• Strong knowledge of Microservices, low code development, reusable component development.

• Strong knowledge of Distribution, Security principles/techniques - data and the app interfaces.

• Strong knowledge of EMM/MDM.

• Expertise in designing and optimizing local data storage for mobile apps, considering performance, memory management, and battery usage.

• Strong knowledge of mobile app architecture patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVP, MVC).

• Expertise in state management solutions - Redux, MobX, Recoil etc.

• Experience in container-based development, AKS, Service Fabric etc.

• Strong experience in data structures, architectural patterns and system design.

• Strong understanding of mobile security best practices, including data encryption, secure storage, and authentication protocols.

• Knowledge of performance profiling tools and techniques.

• Experience in RDBMS, NoSQL, MongoDB, Realm, SQLite data base design and development.

• Good Knowledge of Code Quality, Code Monitoring, Performance Engineering, Test Automation Tools.
