Software Architect (AdTech)

The responsibilities include guiding teams, driving architectural decisions, supporting pre-sales activities, leading discovery phases, evaluating technologies, and introducing forward-thinking approaches to address sophisticated AdTech challenges. This position involves working with mission-critical platforms that operate under extreme performance requirements, such as low latency, high load, and large volumes of data.

• Design, architect, and oversee the implementation of AdTech solutions, including SSPs, DSP integrations, ad servers, RTB pipelines, header bidding systems, identity frameworks, analytics pipelines, and auction engines 
• Act as a technical driver across multiple initiatives, ensuring architectural consistency, quality, and scalability 
• Stay up to date with evolving AdTech standards (OpenRTB, Prebid, VAST, GPP, TCF 2.2, UID2, RampID, etc.) 
• Lead the discovery and assessment phases, including architecture reviews, gap analysis, and solution scoping 
• Provide technical estimation, advisory services, PoCs, and support during pre-sale activities 
• Translate complex business requirements into scalable and compliant technical architectures 
• Define architectural standards, best practices, reference models, governance rules, CI/CD expectations, and operational guidelines 
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure high-quality implementation and adherence to architectural decisions 
• Provide recommendations for solution design, performance tuning, data modeling, and cost optimization 
• Guide teams in building future-proof, maintainable, and scalable software components 
• Mentor engineers, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, and support professional growth of the team

• 7+ years of experience in software development 
• 3+ years in a technical leadership or architecture role 
• Strong proficiency in at least one of the following languages: C++, Golang, Rust, or Node.js 
• Proven experience designing and building high-load, low-latency, and scalable cloud platforms 
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, etc.) 
• Successful track record in consulting engagements, pre-sales activities, and client-facing presentations 
• Strong understanding of distributed systems, performance optimization, messaging, caching, and API design 
• Advanced level of English  

 

WOULD BE A PLUS 

• Experience in the AdTech domain (SSP, DSP, ad server, header bidding, OpenRTB, Prebid, VAST, user sync, identity solutions, audience data, measurement/attribution, etc.) 
• Hands-on knowledge of real-time bidding systems and auction mechanics 
• Familiarity with mobile ad delivery (iOS/Android) 
• Experience designing SDKs, APIs, libraries, and integration frameworks 
• Experience with ad integrations, analytics pipelines, consent management (TCF/GPP), and fraud detection 
• Experience with Prebid ecosystem 
• Understanding of privacy-driven architectures and GDPR/CCPA compliance principles
