JOB DESCRIPTION:

Position requires advances knowledge of and able to implement solutions involving data structures, object oriented analysis and design, object oriented software engineering, network technologies and protocols, device management protocols, security protocols and business processes, inventory lifecycle, server virtualization, server operating systems, logical volume management, presentation technologies, data conversion, and complex deal contracts, clauses and project management. Position interfaces with Customers, PMO, Service management leads, and Transition Leads, as well as internal and external Subject Matter Experts.

Plus these Technical Requirements – Experienced in all of the following :

Data and Structures:

• Relational database normalization

• Object to Relational Mapping, Class Table, Concrete Table and Single Table Inheritance

• Datatypes, typecasting

• Custom load, extract

• translations, encoding, format conversions

Database systems and clients:

• Maria/MySQL 5.x and up

• Oracle

• SQL Server

• FTTDS

Object Oriented Software Engineering:

• Class inheritance, polymorphism, encapsulation

• Ruby 1.8 and later

• Ruby on Rails 1.x to 4.x

• Gems/GitHub, gg services, etc.

Web Technologies/languages/markup

• HTML

• XML

• Restful services

• Web Services, APIs

• CSS

• JavaScript, JQuery, Node.js

• Nginx/Physio Passenger

• AJAX

Server System:

• Linux, Opens use (13.x, Leap), Red hat

• Iptables

• virtual machine server deployments, remote console, etc.

• XEN, KVM, VMWare

• deployments, os installation, security practices

Networking:

• SSH, tunneling

• HTTPS

Mail servers:

• Postfix, Am virus, etc.
