Galvion designs, develops, and manufactures ballistic helmets and dynamic power and data management solutions for the modern battlefield. We are a passionate, global, and fast-paced team working with several strategic partners and are committed to enhancing the overall agility and survivability of the modern warfighter and tactical operator.

THE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Galvion’s competitive summer internship program provides the opportunity to work independently and as part of a team on a wide array of projects that have a direct impact on our organization. Interns will gain practical work experience and growth and development opportunities while experiencing great exposure to our industry.

Our interns are embedded in multiple areas of our business and will be assigned a mentor to be their guide for the duration of the program. Internships are approximately 12+ weeks in length, from May to August.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED

Assist with construction of new items

Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Industrial Design Focus on Soft Goods or equivalent combination of education.

Experience with a Laser Cutter

Updating Technical Data Packages and Sewing Instructions.

Experience with PAD V6, Adobe Illustrator, PowerPoint and General Microsoft Office

Good organizational and communication skills.

Ability to work independently as well effectively and collaboratively with others in the organization.

Strong attention to detail and a desire to learn.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Ability to pass a background check.

You will work with a Soft Goods detailed oriented Team Lead and a team of passionate and driven individuals who are making a difference for our modern-day war fighters, law enforcement, and EMS.
