Williams Consulting, LLC (WCLLC), is a government contracting firm, is seeking a Senior Social Scientist/Economist to lead advanced evaluation studies and economic analyses in support of a federal prevention-oriented public health initiative. This role focuses on assessing the effectiveness, implementation, and costs of large-scale public health interventions and translating analytic findings into actionable insights.
The Senior Social Scientist/Economist will also provide methodological guidance to project teams and contribute to development of analytic frameworks that support evidence-based policy and programmatic decision-making.
The successful candidate will bring extensive experience conducting economic and program evaluation analyses, designing and executing modeling and simulation studies, interpreting complex quantitative and qualitative data and communicating findings to government and scientific audiences.

Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct evaluation studies utilizing qualitative and quantitative methods
Acquire costs and effectiveness data to conduct economic evaluation analyses and modeling studies
Perform economic analyses (including simulation analyses) to evaluate the costs and effectiveness of implementation of different interventions
Develops reports that reflect an in-depth analysis and interpretation of results.
Assist the client in the dissemination of findings (including preparation of peer-reviewed journal articles and presentation of findings)
Qualifications and Experience
Master’s degree in economics or social science
5 years of relevant experience
Experienced in conducting evaluation studies in both qualitative and quantitative research methods
Skilled in acquiring costs and effectiveness data to conduct economic evaluation analyses and modeling studies
Experienced in preparing peer-reviewed journal articles and presenting research findings
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including ability to communicate complex information clearly
Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a federal contracting environment
Must provide three (3) management references that can attest to qualifications
Background investigation required
Working Conditions and Requirements
Location: Remote (Atlanta Georgia-based preferred) | Limited travel required
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. Standing, sitting, squatting, and other normal office-related physical activities are required. Must be able to sit and read computer screens for extended periods.
