Why The Role Exists
To produce best-in-class social media influencer strategies and tactics that deliver outstanding results
To develop and grow Influencer Strategy and Management as a service for GPC clients
To work effectively within the parameters of the social media process
Manage and maintain processes across social media projects in the agency
What The Role Covers
Ownership of social media management for assigned GPC projects in Malaysia
Conducting industry research and data analysis to identify the most appropriate strategy approaches to client projects
Working with creative production and client services team on content strategy and scheduling, and ensuring outputs meet client briefs
Overall measuring the quality of social media from the agency
Reporting and Communication Structure
This role reports to and advises the Social Media Director (APAC) and Social Lead in the agency.
Responsibilities
Initiate and lead strategic and targeted engagement of key opinion leaders, to increase visibility of client’s brand in local market
Oversee the implementation and effectiveness of outreach plan through multiple social local outreach initiatives to target audiences, e.g. Influencers, content creators, Youtubers, Creatives, DJs, musicians, agency partners, social seeders, production house etc.
Build and maintain sustainable relationships with stakeholders, monitor outreach calendar and coordinate initiatives accordingly
Identify key opinion leaders for brand campaigns and outreach initiatives that maximizes ROI and achieve campaign KPIs.
Influencer outreach, negotiation and contracting to ensure an optimal outcome of projects.
Proofread and oversee key opinion leader generated branded content to ensure campaign messaging, timelines and deliverables are met.
Create, analyze and assess performance of outreach initiatives through project reporting and extract key insights for future campaign development and go-to-market strategies, complete with formal proposals and recommendations on tactics
Staying up-to-date with relevant industry trends
Support local social media manager for customer enquiries and reporting
Performance review and personal development
Bi-Annual review by Social Media Lead on the basis of:
Performance of social media strategies for client projects
Client feedback and satisfaction
Resourcefulness, independence and ability to work and deliver in a fast-paced environment under tight timelines
Responsiveness of clients to client’s briefs and requests
Quality assurance and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task across different projects.
Understanding of local outreach strategies and the KOL industry
