Job Purpose

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's marketing and communication goals. This role will focus on creating and curating high-quality content, managing social media campaigns, and engaging with online communities to build brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate leads.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Social Media Strategy:

Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy that aligns with the company's marketing and communication goals.

 Conduct social media audits and analyze performance metrics to inform future strategies.

2. Content Creation:

Create high-quality, engaging content for social media platforms, including text, images, videos, and live streams.

 Develop and curate content that resonates with the target audience and supports the company's brand and messaging.

3. Social Media Management:

 Manage and schedule social media content across multiple platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and reviews on social media in a timely and professional manner.

4. Campaign Execution: P

Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote products, services, or events.

Collaborate with influencers, partners, and other stakeholders to amplify campaign reach and impact.

5. Analytics and Reporting:

Track and analyze social media metrics, including engagement rates, follower growth, and website traffic Provide regular reporting and insights to inform future social media strategies.

Other Responsibilities:

1. Brand Monitoring:

 Monitor social media conversations about the company's brand, competitors, and industry.

  Identify and report on trends, opportunities, and potential issues.

2. Influencer Partnerships:

 Identify and partner with influencers who can help promote the company's products or services.

 Develop and manage relationships with influencers and other partners.

3. Content Calendar:

 Develop and maintain a content calendar that outlines social media content and campaigns. Ensure that content is aligned with the company's marketing and communication goals.

4. Social Media Advertising:

 Plan and execute social media advertising campaigns to drive website traffic, generate leads, and support sales.

 Manage social media ad budgets and optimize ad performance.

 

Knowladge And Experience

• 2-3 years of experience in social media marketing or a related field
• Good reading, writing and oral proficiency in English language
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
• High degree of professionalism with sound human resources management and business acumen capabilities
