Social Media Manager - Parent-Focused Content

We are seeking Social Media Managers to create authentic content that connects with parents navigating the complexities of modern family life. We're looking for content creators who can translate science-backed parenting, health, and wellness insights into scroll-stopping vertical videos that resonate across TikTok and Instagram Reels.

In this contract role, you'll have the creative freedom to build an engaging voice while working within a collaborative team environment. If you thrive on riding platform trends, understand what makes content shareable, and can consistently produce videos that feel both personal and professional, this opportunity is for you.

Time Commitment & Output
Part time/contractor;
Dedicate 10-12 hours weekly with flexible scheduling;
Participate in one 30-min weekly check-in about the project;
Produce and manage 8+ videos per week for up to 3 months across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook;
Support growth by connecting with niche-aligned accounts through follows, likes, etc.

Responsibilities :
• Create engaging, trend- and news-focused, parenting, health-based content
• Craft platform-optimized captions and post copy that authentically represents your account's distinct voice
• Receive weekly feedback from your Vocal contact on the previous week’s content, as well as priorities for the upcoming week
• Monitor emerging platform trends and algorithm updates to continuously refine content approach
• Track and analyze key performance metrics and audience engagement patterns
• Work effectively with fellow Social Media Managers and Campaigns team leadership
• Contribute to cross-platform content initiatives and strategy discussions

Qualifications - Required :
• Interest in short-form video content creation for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, YT Shorts, etc.
• General awareness and understanding of current political and cultural landscape
• Superior instincts for identifying potentially viral or highly engaging content
• Familiarity with basic video editing tools (CapCut, TikTok native tools, etc.)
• Proven ability to work effectively in rapid-response environments
• Able to work 10-12 hours per week (flexible scheduling)

Qualifications - Preferred :
• Prior management or content creation experience of a social media account
• Agency or in-house social media management experience
• Background in health or wellness content creation
