Role Overview

The Social Media Manager supports the development and execution of the Group’s Marketing & Communications strategy by ensuring a consistent, engaging, and brand-aligned presence across all social media channels for Empiria Group and its hotels.

The role contributes to brand awareness, audience engagement, brand storytelling, and overall digital visibility, while safeguarding brand consistency across platforms. It combines strategic planning, content coordination, on-site content creation, performance monitoring, and community management to enhance the Group’s positioning within the luxury hospitality landscape.

The position reports to the Marketing & Communications Manager and works closely with the Brand & Communications team, hotel teams, internal departments, and external social media partners to deliver integrated and impactful social media initiatives aligned with the Group’s strategic objectives.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop and execute the annual social media strategy for Empiria Group and its hotels, fully aligned with the overall Marketing & Communications strategy and business objectives.
• Collaborate with the Brand & Communications team on creative direction, campaigns, and seasonal priorities to ensure consistent brand storytelling across platforms.
• Work closely with hotel teams and departments such as HR, Sales, and Operations to identify key events and communication points for inclusion in monthly content calendars.
• Lead communication and coordination with the external social media agency for the creation of monthly content calendars, daily posts, and campaign execution.
• Review content and provide clear, strategic feedback to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and positioning.
• Create original and live content (short videos, images, copy) during on-site visits to the hotels to enrich the brand’s digital presence with authentic material.
• Develop engaging visual and written content to support campaigns and specific communication needs.
• Monitor content performance, analyze metrics and insights, and implement improvements based on data-driven decisions.
• Oversee community engagement across social media platforms, ensuring timely, professional, and brand-aligned responses to messages and comments.
• Monitor social media and hospitality trends, as well as competitor activity, to identify best practices and new opportunities.
• Propose creative and innovative campaign ideas that differentiate Empiria’s brands while remaining aligned with brand identity and business goals.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration between internal stakeholders and external partners involved in social media execution.


Requirements:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, ideally within luxury hospitality or lifestyle brands.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms, algorithms, and engagement strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proven ability to craft engaging copy and captions.
• Experience in coordinating with external agencies and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Analytical mindset, with hands-on experience in social media analytics and reporting tools.
• Ability to travel for scheduled trips to Santorini, Paros, and Milos during the summer season.
