Job Title: Social Media Contractor

Job Overview:
We’re helping our client find a Social Media Contractor to support the execution and reporting of their social media program during a parental leave coverage period.
This is a project-based role focused on operational execution, including publishing content, maintaining reporting, and tracking performance — while the internal team continues to lead on strategy and creative. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with social media tools and analytics.
Responsibilities:
Social Publishing & Execution
• Execute content publishing based on a pre-defined content calendar
• Schedule and publish content across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Pinterest, etc.
• Ensure accuracy, timing, and quality control of all posts
• Upload and organize social assets, including short-form video
• Support execution of initiatives like giveaways and gifting programs
Reporting & Performance Tracking
• Produce weekly and monthly social performance reports
• Track metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth, and content performance
• Maintain dashboards and ensure data accuracy
• Share key insights and trends based on performance data
• Support competitor benchmarking and industry tracking
Trend & Conversation Monitoring
• Monitor platforms for trends, conversations, and cultural moments
• Share relevant opportunities and insights with the team
• Track competitor activity and shifts in the social landscape
Systems & Data Management
• Use tools like Nectar, Dash Hudson, Emplifi, or similar
• Maintain tagging, categorization, and reporting systems
• Ensure proper documentation and organization of data and content
Operational Support
• Maintain day-to-day workflows for publishing and reporting
• Track manual metrics such as follower counts and benchmarks
• Support campaign execution and ongoing social initiatives
Requirements:
Must-Have:
• Experience with social media analytics and reporting tools (Nectar, Dash Hudson, Emplifi, or similar)
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Pinterest
• Experience working with native platform analytics
• Comfortable working with dashboards, spreadsheets, and reporting tools
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage repetitive operational tasks
Nice-to-Have:
• Experience in eCommerce or DTC brands
• Familiarity with social content workflows and scheduling tools
• Ability to identify trends and translate them into actionable insights
