Role Summary
Destinations International is seeking a Social Impact Programs Lead to support and advance key Social Impact initiatives during an important period of continuity and momentum.
This role is designed to step in and lead the day-to-day execution, coordination, and stakeholder engagement across Social Impact priorities, ensuring projects continue to move forward with consistency, quality, and care.
This role is focused on advancing and executing existing Social Impact priorities, maintaining momentum and delivering meaningful impact across current initiatives. While highly collaborative, this position is not intended to set department strategy or create new initiatives, but rather to ensure established work is carried forward effectively, thoughtfully, and with a strong commitment to equity, inclusion, and community impact across the global destination sector.
What You’ll Do
You will play a central role in advancing Social Impact work by ensuring existing priorities move forward with clarity, consistency, and care. This includes:
Lead the execution of existing Social Impact initiatives, managing multiple projects across timelines, priorities, and stakeholders
Coordinate cross-functional efforts, working closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure alignment and progress
Support member-facing initiatives, delivering a high level of responsiveness, professionalism, and care in all interactions
Maintain organization and visibility across projects, tracking progress, deliverables, and key milestones
Facilitate clear and consistent communication, ensuring stakeholders are informed and aligned in a fast-paced, remote environment
Navigate multiple workstreams effectively, ensuring priorities are clear and work progresses smoothly across projects
Utilize and maintain project management tools (including Trello) to support accountability, transparency, and efficiency
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who can step in quickly, build trust, and bring structure and consistency to ongoing work. Someone who is comfortable operating with clarity, care, and accountability in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Experience
3–5 years of professional experience
Experience in the destination, travel, tourism, or related industry preferred
Experience in social impact, community engagement, or inclusion-focused work required

You bring a strong sense of ownership to your work, while staying aligned to established direction and priorities

You are comfortable working in a remote, fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities with professionalism
You are able to navigate complexity and keep work moving forward, even when managing multiple timelines and inputs
Skills & Tools
Strong project management and coordination skills
High level of emotional intelligence and interpersonal awareness
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Compensation: Hourly, based on 40 Hours Per Week ($35.00/hour)
