Job Description
Overview
Our client is looking for a social-first content creator who understands what performs on social media and can move quickly from brief to execution. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys turning ideas into engaging short-form content across multiple platforms.
The ideal candidate combines creative execution with strategic thinking, someone who can design compelling static posts, create engaging short-form video, and understand the broader social media marketing objectives behind the content.
The majority of the work is practical, performance-driven social content designed to sell event tickets, drive sign-ups, and build engaged communities. You’ll be taking clear concepts or objectives and executing them quickly using existing assets (footage, photography, templates, and brand guidelines).
You’ll be working across multiple client accounts of varying sizes, meaning the style, pace, and requirements will change frequently. They are looking for someone who thrives in that environment and can apply strong creative judgement without needing step-by-step instructions.
What You’ll Do
• Create engaging, high-performing short-form social content (reels, carousels, static posts, short videos).
• Translate rough briefs into polished, platform-optimised content.
• Design visually compelling static assets aligned with brand guidelines.
• Contribute to social media strategy, content planning, and campaign ideation.
• Work across multiple platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, etc.).
• Support website/landing page content and design where required (beneficial, not essential).
Requirements:
• Strong social-first mindset, understands trends, hooks, engagement mechanics, and what catches attention.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in fast-turnaround environments.
• Proven design capability (Adobe, Canva, Figma or similar).
• Experience creating short-form video content for social platforms.
• Comfortable working from rough briefs with minimal direction.
• Creative independence and strong ownership mentality.
Nice to Have
• Experience working with events, fitness, sports, community, or experiential brands.
• Motion graphics or light animation skills.
• Understanding of platform-specific best practices (Reels, Stories, feed posts, etc.).
