Job Description

As a SOC Analyst, you will be part of the Security Operations Center team responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents across our infrastructure. You will assist in maintaining the organization's security posture through proactive threat hunting, incident analysis, and security tool management.

• Monitor security events and alerts from various security tools including SIEM, endpoint protection, and network security solutions.

• Design and work with individualized Security dashboards to provide real-time visibility and assist in effective signal triage and trend analysis.

• Create, analyze, and triage security alerts to identify potential threats and incidents.

• Develop and maintain security documentation and incident reports

• Conduct initial incident response triage and escalate significant security events to senior team members

• Engage in threat hunting activities and vulnerability assessments

• Manage and maintain security monitoring tools and fine tune security signals

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve security incidents

• Contribute to the continuous improvement of security operations processes

• Stay informed about emerging threats and attack techniques

• Contribute to threat intelligence gathering and analysis

• Conduct Purple Team exercises to simulate real-world adversary tactics to validate detection coverage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good understanding of networking concepts, security protocols, and the MITRE ATT&CK framework.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Able to work effectively for cross-functional team collaboration to achieve shared security goals.

And nice to have...

• Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, and network monitoring solutions

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities

• Understanding of incident response frameworks and lifecycles

• Experience with log analysis to drive investigations and identify behavioral anomalies
