Responsibilities

• Understanding and aligning with business needs
• Leading and mentoring project teams (5-7 members)
• Overseeing a large scale migration to Snowflake
• Acting as the senior technical lead for the development
• Planning and leading testing activities

Requirements

• 5+ years of data engineering experience, exceptional SQL skills
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake data platforms
• Proficiency in assessing business logic, proposal submission, and time estimation
• 2+ years of experience in a technical leadership or team lead role, guiding data warehouse/lakehouse migration or development projects
• Project experience from a consultancy background
• Customer-oriented approach
• Strong communication skills and proactivity
• Professional working proficiency in both English and Hungarian (written and spoken)
• Problem-solving skills, creativity

 

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with DataIKU, DB2,
• Experience in international projects

 

Additional Information

• Our current project is at a multinational financial institute, where 3 days of on site presence in their Budapest office and some flexibility with working closer to US east timezone is necessary.
