Job summary: We are seeking a skilled and mechanically inclined Small Engine Mechanic to join our team. This full‑time, year‑round position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, problem‑solving, and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently. You’ll work in a fast‑paced shop environment performing repairs, inspections, and general maintenance on a variety of small engines and roofing‑related equipment.

Responsibilities

•Perform repairs and routine service on roofing equipment including power blowers, generators, cutters, power buggies, and other small engines
•Assist with general warehouse and shop labor tasks as needed
•Complete inspections, oil changes, spark plug replacements, and other preventative maintenance
•Troubleshoot mechanical issues and “tinker” with machinery to identify and resolve problems
•Manage vehicle and DOT inspections to ensure compliance and safety
•Assist with general warehouse and shop labor tasks as needed

Requirements & Qualifications

•2+ years of small engine mechanic experience or performing machine repairs and inspections
•Knowledge of powered equipment, including hydraulics, hydraulic hoses, generators, and similar machinery
•Forklift operating experience is required
•Mechanically inclined with strong problem solving abilities
•Organized and able to work efficiently in a fast paced environment
•Must be able to pass a drug test
•Preferred: Welding experience

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM–3:00 PM (Overtime as needed)
