About the Job

A-1 Cement is seeking a slinger operator or telebelt operator or truck driver with a class 3 license and at least 5 years driving experience.

Who you are

You are a five year experienced driver with a valid Class 3 Alberta license and with a clean abstract.

You have general knowledge of slinger/truck operation or telebelt operation, basement gravel installation, and workplace safety requirements.

You have an understanding of residential construction practices and quality standards.

You are professional, detail oriented and a good communicator in both written and verbal correspondence.

Key Responsibilities

Must be able to comfortably operate a slinger truck or telebelt or tandem dump truck in the city of Calgary while knowing the new sub divisions with some ease.

Must be capable of manual labor assisting with exterior weeping tile and basement gravel installation as required.

Must be conscientious with truck driving standards and job site safety while diligently filling out pre-trip truck and hazardous assessment forms.

Unique working conditions

This position may require flexible hours but each work day starts at 7: 00 a.m. 

This job is fulltime and year round.
