Job summary:
Support a cohort of apprentices through their learning journey and deliver skills workshops to students in person (Reading and Southampton) and online.
Duties and responsibilities to include:
Support a caseload of L3/4/7 accountancy apprentices working for some of the biggest names in practice and industry
Undertaking progress reviews with the apprentice and their employer
Providing structured feedback on an apprentice’s progression
Creating and implementing action plans where necessary
Monitor learner progression to ensure they reach their highest potential in all the knowledge, skills, and behaviours of the apprenticeship standards
Support apprentices through to End Point Assessment.
Preparing and updating study planners for your apprentices
Reviewing task and portfolio submissions by apprentices and providing feedback
Reviewing learning logs and providing feedback in line with funding rules
Keep excellent records and relevant trackers up to date.
Effective delivery of our impact skills programme workshops
Qualification and Skills:
Essential
Ability to inspire, influence and motivate, with an enthusiasm for learning.
Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal skills.
Confident and professional, as you will be representing the brand to clients and apprentices.
Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
Ability to manage own workload.
Microsoft literate (Excel, Outlook).
Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, AET) or the willingness to undertake study to achieve this
Passion for teaching and training
Able to travel to Reading and Southampton as needed
Desirable
Sound knowledge of apprenticeship programmes and standards to ensure compliance with Ofsted and DfE Regulations
Understanding of the accountancy sector/qualifications (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW)
