Skilled Laborer - OSP Groundhand

Do you have experience on a construction or landscaping crew? Patriot Broadband Construction is looking for skilled laborers/ ground hands to join our underground Horizontal Drilling Crew as a OSP Technician! This is an entry-level, travel-based ground hand role that will provide an opportunity to learn other aspects of the underground fiber construction industry.

You’ll do things like:

Set up cones/signage for traffic control

Hand-dig and perform potholing

Assist the crew in horizontal directional drilling setup

Assist in conduit pulls

Complete JHAs and maintain safe work zones

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license, clean MVR.

Ability to travel to job locations throughout Pennsylvania and on an as needed basis to other northeastern/ mid-Atlantic states.

Comfortable with outdoor work; digging with a hand shovel, lifting 75 lbs, 

Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT Medical Certification (company-paid)

Ability to pass a Background check and drug screening

Nice to have but not required:

OSHA-10

traffic control certification

Construction Laborer experience
