Job Description

A-Line is looking for a metal sorter to join our team. This role is hands-on and fast-paced, working with various hand tools and heavy equipment to move and sort materials.

What to Expect

1st Shift: Monday - Friday from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm and OT as needed

Starting at $18 + depending on experience

What You’ll Do

Sort metals into ferrous and non-ferrous types, including red metals

Use chop saws, table cutters, and other hand and power tools to separate materials

Operate forklifts to move and distribute metals to the proper locations for processing or recycling

Maintain a clean and safe work area while following all safety procedures

Work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced, hands-on environment

What We’re Looking For

Previous experience sorting metals or working in a recycling, scrap, or industrial environment

Knowledge of different metal types and metal recycling process preferred.

Experience using chop saws, table cutters, and other hand/power tools

Forklift experience and ability to safely operate heavy equipment

Strong attention to safety and detail

Ability to work in a physically demanding environment

Dependable and team-oriented
