Site Supervisor Night Shift

PFP Logistics is looking for a Night Shift Supervisor in the Fayetteville, NC area!  

Our Night Shift Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and supervising all activities of an assigned work team on a shift basis by directing assigned associates in the warehousing and shipping of customer products in a manner consistent with service and cost objectives. Our Night Shift Supervisor will: 

Supervise and coordinate the most efficient loading of outbound shipments and orderly stacking of products in accordance with the highest possible levels of quality. 

Coordinate a team of 15 to 20 associates. 

Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. 

Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment. 

Ensure Associates follow all safety policies and procedures. 

Thoroughly investigate and report all safety accidents and violations in a timely manner. 

Conduct operations in accordance with OSHA Standards. 

Direct the operations of the assigned work team to achieve prescribed objectives. 

Conduct shift meetings. 

Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staff for the effective performance of activities and response to fluctuating workloads. 

Prepare and maintain work records and reports of information such as employee time and wages, daily receipts, or inspection results. 

Collaborate with workers and managers to solve work-related problems. 

Conduct staff meetings to relay general information or to address specific topics, such as safety. 

Recommend or initiate personnel actions, such as promotions or disciplinary measures. 

Assess training needs of staff and arrange for or provide appropriate instruction. 

Resolve personnel problems, complaints, or formal grievances when possible, or refer them to higher-level supervisors for resolution. 

Other duties as requested. 

Minimum requirements: 

Physical Demands/Work Environment: 

Ability to lift 50-70 lbs. on a consistent basis. 

Ability to exert force to lift, push, pull or carry heavy objects. 

Must have reliable transportation and means of contact.

Salary: $40,000

Schedule: 

Alternating basis: 

Week A:  

On: Monday & Tuesday 

Off: Wednesday & Thursday 

On: Friday, Saturday, Sunday 

Week B: 

On: Wednesday & Thursday 

Off: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 

Shift time: 

7:00 pm-7:00 am
