Summary

As a Site Supervisor for Janitorial services, you will oversee the cleaning and maintenance operations within commercial facilities, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and safety. Your core responsibilities will include managing custodial staff, coordinating floor care, and implementing effective cleaning protocols. Your expertise in janitorial and custodial experience will be essential, while your premium skills in maintenance and buffing will enhance service quality. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00AM - 5:00PM, Must be flexible may need to come early or stay later.

Pay is $21/hr

The responsibilities of a Site Supervisor include:

Coordinate janitorial service activities for assigned building. Ensure that services are performed as contracted.

Control supplies, equipment, and personnel necessary to meet customer specifications.

Interact with customers daily to obtain feedback on services and special needs. Troubleshoot potential problems and concerns.

Supervise and coordinate the work of janitorial staff to ensure that all areas are cleaned and maintained according to company standards.

Schedule and assign cleaning tasks, ensuring adequate coverage and efficient use of resources.

Train and onboard new janitorial staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality performance.

Conduct regular inspections of facilities to ensure cleanliness and maintenance standards are met.

Address and resolve any issues or complaints related to cleaning services.

Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

Prepare and maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, staff schedules, and maintenance issues.

Communicate effectively with staff, management, and clients to ensure satisfaction with cleaning services.

Assist with cleaning tasks as needed, especially in high-demand situations.

Develop and implement cleaning procedures and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a janitorial service/customer-oriented environment

Proven experience in janitorial and custodial services

Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques and floor care

Familiarity with commercial cleaning standards

Experience in facilities maintenance and industrial cleaning

Ability to perform residential painting and maintenance tasks

Must be able to effectively communicate and respond to questions from managers and customers.
