Site Reliability Engineer

About The Role

Do you want to ensure that the teams that are redefining aerospace and defense can deliver without issue? As our Site Reliability Engineer, you will play a key role in managing, securing, and optimizing a broad range of IT systems across the organization. As the team is small and we are a start-up, you can make an impact in different areas. This also means you are a “jack of all trades,” feeling comfortable with networking but also distributed systems - in Linux. You will be dealing with storage, on prem and cloud technologies, while maintaining a holistic and proactive security mindset. We are looking for someone who can ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of all systems and infrastructure supporting operations. And who will do it interfacing directly with customers, ensuring strong communication.

What You´ll Do

• Administration, monitoring and optimization of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Defender, Entra ID, Intune).
• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure in AWS, as well as on premise.
• Support and maintain Linux.
• Administer and customize Atlassian Jira and Confluence, ensuring alignment with team workflows and integrations.
• Collaborate in network infrastructure operations with switches, routers, firewalls, VPNs, site connectivity, and basic SD-WAN operations.
• Design of networks and subnet allocation for new facilities and maintenance, monitoring, and incident resolution.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues across systems, networks, cloud platforms, and applications.

Requirements:
What You’ll Need

• Experience with Linux,
• Hands on with configuration management (Ansible preferred) with Terraform & Proxmox (ideally) complementing setup,
• Experience with Ceph and/or Kubernetes
• Strong customer-facing orientation
• Nice to have: administration, monitoring and optimization of Microsoft 365 services (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Defender, Entra ID, Intune).
