Job Description
The main responsibility is to ensure and improve the availability of our trading binary. We expect you to be on duty while the team in Europe is asleep.
Responsibilities:
• Operational management of trading activities, proactive trading monitoring;
• Incident management, rapid escalation, and mitigation;
• On-call duty;
• Debugging (C++ and Python code) and issue classification;
• Developing observability metrics and trading analytics;
• Staying informed (reading financial and technical news, monitoring exchange newsletters).
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative discipline (CS, engineering, physics, math, etc.);
• 5+ years of experience in an SRE role;
• Programming skills (Python/Go preferred);
• Strong working knowledge of Unix systems;
• Ability to deploy, configure, and administer Linux-based servers (Docker, K8s, Grafana);
• Ability to identify areas for platform improvement in a complex technical environment;
• Excellent communication skills, with experience interfacing with both internal and external clients;
• Proficiency in English (B2/Upper-Intermediate or higher);
• Willingness to dive into a new domain area.
