Job Description

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer for across New Zealand. This is a permanent role for a global IT service provider.

Requirements:
• Deep knowledge of cloud infrastructure (GKE/ AWS), and direct experience with at least one of the major cloud providers and managing Kubernetes clusters
• Securing and Maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux based servers
• Maintaining systems using "Configuration as Code"

• Git and automation tools, like Ansible, Terraform, Packer or equivalents

• Experience working with hybrid or public cloud environments

• Exposure in rolling out technical information security requirements such as DevSecOps, ISO27001, CSA, or OWASP
• Strong experience in Infrastructure as Code
• Hands-on experience in designing metrics and alerting with observability tools
• Experience with container orchestration such as Kubernetes (GKE/EKS), AWS ECS, and Docker Compose
• Experience on leveraging Git-Based (Gitlab) source control including feature branching strategies
• Exposure in provisioning and supporting RDBMS, NoSQL, or Big Data
