• Partner with the Vice President and CPG Administration to implement and monitor performance expectations, including RVU targets, encounter goals, quality assurance metrics, documentation standards, and budget goals.

• Prepare, present, and report site-level psychiatric performance and progress during Monthly Site Review (MSR) meetings with executive leadership.

• Lead flexible provider coverage efforts at the site and collaborate with the Regional Medical Director, Vice President, and administrative partners to support coverage needs across the Compass Psychiatry Group (CPG).

• Collaborate with Compass leadership in developing the responsible incorporation of AI services into clinical care

External & System Engagement

• Serve as a liaison with local and state agencies, including DCFS, Departments of Aging and Public Health, law enforcement, and other regulatory bodies as appropriate.

• Maintain collaborative relationships with local hospital systems, laboratories, and Risk Management partners.

• Represent Compass Health Center in the community through outreach activities such as continuing education webinars, professional blogs, referral development, and collaboration with outpatient providers.

Clinical Responsibilities

In addition to leadership duties, the Site Medical Director provides direct patient care, including:

• Conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, establishing diagnoses, and prescribing medications.

• Maintaining accurate, timely, and compliant psychiatric documentation for all patient encounters.

• Participating in utilization review, quality assurance, and performance improvement activities.

• Engaging in ongoing professional development and continuing medical education.

• Supervise internal nursing staff engaged in APRN training to develop a pipeline of excellent, vetted candidates for future roles in CPG
