Position Purpose
A versatile position within a dynamic nonprofit that helps communities recover after disasters and gets children back in school. This position is temporary and is responsible for overall management and strategic development of the program to ensure efficient and effective delivery of the projects. The assignment is expected to last 4-5 weeks. Start date is April 20th.

Essential Functions
Support the Field team in planning the workflow on construction sites.
Supports the Construction Site Coordinator and Site Supervisor with on site tracking and completing site diary and work logs.
together with the Construction Site Coordinator and Site Supervisor hold daily morning meetings on site to deliver health and safety briefings and divide the work for the day.
Provide training and guidance in work scopes to different audiences, such as day volunteers.
Oversee certain tasks on construction sites
Lead and direct the work of individual work teams. of day volunteers.
Assist in field coordination as needed
Lead teams in IDR scopes, such as XXXX and tree removal projects.
Offer skilled troubleshooting and technical assistance on chainsaw, construction and tarping related worksites, depending on skill set.
Maintain records of work completed including tracking material used, volunteer hours and scopes performed.
Adheres to an agreed set of safety and quality standards and ensures these standards are maintained.
Assisting with procurement and receipt of materials for the school campus work
Leading the team at the construction site alongside the partner
Supporting school beautification preparation work
Perform other duties as required
Position Requirements
Education High school diploma or equivalent required.
Related Experience 2+ months of volunteer and 1+ month Team Leader and/or Site Manager All Hands and Hearts experience.
Special Competencies/Certification Good written and oral communication skills and confident working with Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets; and Microsoft Office. Applicants need to be well organized and have a flexible approach to managing multiple tasks and prioritizing them appropriately. The individual is able to manage a large workload and perform in a fast-paced environment.

Constantly works in outdoor adverse weather conditions
Frequently moves items weighing up to 40 lbs on work site or on base
Frequently operates construction equipment (table saws, impact drivers, drills, and more)
Frequently operates computer
Frequently ascends/descends ladders and scaffolding
Must be able to remain in a stationary position

Compensation & Benefits
Pay rate is $17.81 USD/ hour
