Site Lead and Forklift Operator – Full-Time

Seattle Boat Company is looking for an energetic, hardworking, eager, and reliable individual to join our marina team as a site lead and forklift operator! This is a full-time, year-round position with benefits.

Compensation: $26.00-$30.00/hour DOE + bonuses

What You’ll Be Doing:

Moving boats in and out storage facilities and warehouses using the Marina Wiggins Bull Forklift

Offload boat and trailers from transport trucks

Working with Service, Marina, and Sales Departments to efficiently move boats when requested

Responsible for onsite audits of inventory

Organization of site for maximum efficiency

Overall site cleanliness

What We’re Looking For:

Required:

Must have a clean driving record (be willing to provide a driving abstract)

Willingness to obtain Forklift Operator Certification (Seattle Boat will train and certify)

Strong work ethic with the ability to take direction, learn, and deliver excellent customer service

Have a team-oriented mindset

Ability to work with a flexible schedule throughout the year, adjust during busy seasons, and working weekends

Strong organizational and basic computer skills

Strongly Recommended:

Boating experience - a general love for being on and around the water
