We are seeking a highly skilled Senior 1D Simulation Engineer with expertise in Exhaust Aftertreatment Systems (EATS) and catalytic chemistry. In this role, you will develop and integrate high-fidelity 1D models supporting heavy-duty engine development and emissions compliance.

You will work at the intersection of combustion, chemical kinetics, thermodynamics, and system simulation, contributing directly to next-generation diesel and alternative fuel powertrain technologies.

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or similar
• Minimum 5 years of experience in EATS simulation and catalyst systems modeling
• Strong expertise in catalytic chemistry for heavy-duty applications
• Proven hands-on experience with GT-POWER for 1D aftertreatment modeling
• Strong proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for model development and integration
• Experience calibrating and validating models using engine, rig, or vehicle test data
• Solid understanding of combustion engines, thermodynamics, and chemical kinetics
