The Role and Impact
Join us as an AI Engineering Undergraduate Intern and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of artificial intelligence within Intel. In this position, you will contribute to the design, development, and optimization of cutting-edge AI software solutions across custom silicon design You will collaborate closely with internal product teams and external partners to create scalable and efficient AI systems, integrating hardware and software to deliver innovative solutions. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience, build technical expertise, and explore exciting career opportunities while supporting Intel's mission to drive technological advancements in a collaborative and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in the design, optimization, and development of AI software solutions, including algorithms and frameworks.
• Conduct applied research to enhance AI solutions and enable hardware-software integration.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to develop scalable, system-level AI software architectures.
• Utilize Python to create and enhance solutions for scaling RFx processes in custom ASIC design.
• Apply AI methodologies to support SOC design execution and drive innovative solutions.
• Analyze and solve technical challenges, contributing to the successful deployment of AI-driven products.
• Strong problem-solving ability and disciplined execution in software engineering tasks.
Qualifications:
The Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Minimum qualifications listed below would be obtained through a combination of internship experience and / or schoolwork/classes/research. The preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications
• Proficiency in Python, including experience in developing AI frameworks and algorithms.
• Foundational knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) principles, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Understanding of computer architecture and hardware-software integration principles.

• Prior experience or coursework in algorithm research and development.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $101,100.00-136,800.00 USD (Hourly Role)

Work Model for this Role
